Overview
The Program for Society and the Environment creates a home at the University of Maryland for research on the study of society-environment. The Program is grounded in Maryland’s and BSOS’s strategic plan priorities to “be a force in fostering greater understanding of human relations and the natural environment.” This Program will create a hub for social scientists and students who study all aspects of the society-environment relationship.
